All-Mountain, Park and Powder Snowboards

All-mountain snowboards are the largest group here: a camber or hybrid camber profile, a medium flex and a shape that handles groomers, trees and the occasional park lap, like the Salomon Assassin. Park snowboards use a true twin shape and a softer flex so they ride the same switch and press easily; the Salomon Huck Knife Pro is the park pick here. Powder boards such as the Capita SB Powder Twin and the directional Rome Ravine are shaped to float in soft snow.

Snowboards for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Riders

Beginner snowboards have a softer flex and a forgiving rocker or hybrid profile that turns easily and resists catching an edge. Intermediate riders usually want more camber for edge hold and pop as speeds rise, and advanced riders should look at the stiffer camber boards that reward precise input on hardpack. Each product page names the rider level the board was built for.

Men's, Women's and Kids' Snowboards

Men's snowboards make up the biggest share of the collection, and more than thirty boards offer a wide version for riders in larger boots. Women's snowboards such as the Arbor Mantra, Nitro Mystique and Capita Paradise use narrower waists and a lighter flex. Kids' and youth snowboards from Nitro and Salomon come in short lengths with a soft flex, several as packages with bindings sized for smaller boots.

Snowboard Packages and Complete Setups

The snowboard packages in this collection pair a board with bindings at one price, and the Build a Snowboard Package tool lets you pick your own combination. If you already have a board, finish the setup with snowboard bindings in the flex and strap style you prefer, then dial in the fit with snowboard boots sized to the binding.

Snowboard FAQs

What size snowboard do I need?

Start with your weight, then height and boot size. Brands size a little differently, so use the Arbor snowboard size charts or the Capita snowboard size charts for the board you are considering. If you also ride in summer, our wakeboard size chart for all brands works the same way: board length follows rider weight.

Do I need a wide snowboard?

Around a US men's size 11 or larger, a wide board keeps your toes and heels from dragging in deep turns. Look for a W after the length, such as 158W.

How do I prep a new board before the first day?

Factory wax wears off fast, so hot wax the base, check the edges for burrs, and tighten the binding hardware before the first run. Our preseason snowboard maintenance and care guide covers each step.
