Strap is oversized so the sandals fit loose, possibly would fit better in a size down but then sole might be too small. I have seen other reviews say the strap is stiff and uncomfortable and I disagree. Sole is thick, cushy, and waterproof, and gumsole skids on the bottom provide good traction.
Sandal upper is stiff, which makes it uncomfortable by the toes and where it rubs against the top of the arch. Sizing up may help.
